The Team is nearing the completion of Nebraska. The weather has been really cold (at least for these California girls), but has still allowed them to walk each day. They finished ten miles north of Alma Nebraska on Saturday and hope to enter Kansas about next Saturday. They have the "castle" parked at Republican City, Nebraska until about next Thursday when they hope to move it to Beloit, Kansas.

Plans for Thanksgiving and Christmas
The Team has received several invitations for Thanksgiving, and are trying to decide which is the best for them. One of the possibilities is to have a "family" Thanksgiving with Lyn's brother in Colorado. They are reasonably close to Colorado, so that may work out.
Christmas will be spent at Branson, Missouri. Dave & Lyn have an interest in a timeshare that has facilities in Branson, so they have reservations there for Christmas week. They may be joined there by Samantha's sister Lois, and Samantha's boyfriend, Chip. That will also be close enough for Dave to visit his niece near the Lake of the Ozarks. Samantha's family is moving from Los Banos, California to Sweetwater, Tennessee just after Thanksgiving, so Dave is hoping to visit them at Sweetwater.
Mail can be sent to The Team care of General Delivery at Post Offices along the way. Regular USPS mail is better now than E-Mail. Address the mail to all three walkers (that way any of them can pick it up at the Post Office), and underline the Team member's name so they will know who it goes to. So address your mail to: "Lyn Hanush, Samantha Hanush-Garrett or Joan Balog".
