We were all pretty tired Tuesday and had already decided to not go to Cookville as we had planned. After 9:30 am I called De to let her know we weren’t coming. She was fine with that, and I told her that Dave and I would come another time. We agreed that would definitely be best.
Then we kind of lounged around for the rest of the morning and part of the afternoon. Later we went to the Sock Shop for socks and K-Mart to return a blouse. A-K’s car wouldn’t start then, so we had to wait awhile. Then it started, and we took it to the Ford dealer. It had just started telling her that there was a problem in the charging system. As it turned out her car was still under warranty so the repairs will be covered. That was good. She’ll be without a car for a few days, but she’s only had a car for about two weeks.
Then we watched a DVD and had some dinner. I headed for bed as soon as possible, but it was still after 10 pm.
Then on Wednesday Lois, Kitty, and I took Brenda and Owen to Nashville to the airport to see them off on their flight back to California. Alyce-Kay had to work, so she stayed home.
It is an all-day thing to go there and back. Also we went in with Brenda to help her until she got her luggage checked and went through security. Then I drove back while Lois and Kitty slept. I listened to CD’s and drank my tea.
When we got back to Sweetwater we stopped to get some dinner, then to get gas in the car again before going to the house. I decided to do this journal, then I’m going to go over to A-K’s church where the group is planning to pray over me and tie knots in my prayer quilt. So I better put this on the website and get going.
Tomorrow I’ll be in the Atlanta, GA area for a TV interview.
